Announcing AVLH3's 5th Annual Memorial Weekend Campout!

This Meetup page is for those that are interested in camping out for the event. Cost is $20/per wanker

WHAT: Join AVLH3 for our 5th Anal Campout Extravaganza! Each year AVLH3 tries to host a campout where wankers and wankerettes can come together and have a good time! This year, we are offering this once in a year experience in beautiful Pisgah National Forest!

WHEN: And when does all this fun start, you may ask??? Campout starts on Friday, May 23th at 4pm and ends Monday morning, May 26th!

WHERE: White Pine South Group Campground located in Pisgah Forest, NC (SEE MAP). Campground is off of Silvermine Road. From Asheville: take I26 to Airport Road Exist (Exit 40), turn right onto Highway 280 toward Brevard, NC. Turn right on U.S. Highway 276. Go 1.75 miles to Forest Road 477 and turn right. Go 0.75-mile to the parking area on the right side of the road. Walk across the bridge to the campground entrance road. Coordinates are: 35.29194°, -82.73861°

HASH PROVIDES: camping, a keg (likely two) of beer (bring additional beer if you want something more/better than PBR quality), Hash trail(s), snacks, some sort of AVLH3 swag (shirt or socks), toe tag, lifelong memories, and likely some other things.

HASH CASH: $20/per wanker for the whole weekend or just $10/per wanker for Saturday trail.

ITINERARY:

Friday (May 23rd):
5pm: Setup camp
5-6pm: Registration
6pm: Keg Tapped
6pm-???pm: Do-it-Yourself Dinner
Night Hash – short trail if wanks are interested
Night full of drinking and debauchery (campfire and marshmallows provided)
Saturday (May 24th):
All Day: Drinking
9am-10am: Do-it-Yourself Breakfast, Mimosas (provided)
1pm: MAIN TRAIL! Trail will be a mixture of hiking trails and shiggy. You are very likely to get wet… one way or another… so, be sure to wear clothes you can get wet and apply sunscreen and/or bug repellant, if needed. Trail includes a special B/W Check (beer and wieners) and plenty of cold beer.

4pm: Main Circle – back at camp
6pm: Do-it-Yourself Dinner
7pm-?: Another night of drinking and debauchery (campfire and marshmallows provided)
Sunday (May 25th):
All Day: Drinking
9am-10am: Do-it-Yourself Breakfast, Mimosas (provided)
1pm: Pick-up Hash (if wanks are interested). One person is selected as Hare via Ramshambo. The hare is given a map, with the location of the beer marked, and a bag of flour, and is given a five minute lead. The hare "makes" a trail as he goes by looking at the map, until he is caught by a member of the pack. The person that catches the hare is the next hare, and gets another 5 minute lead, and this continues on until the he's caught and so on until the pack gets to the beer
6pm: Do-it-Yourself Dinner
7pm-?: Another night of drinking and debauchery (campfire and marshmallows provided)

Monday (May 26th):
Do-it-yourself whatever - food, drinking and debauchery. Pack up and cranium out

Things you need to bring:
-Tent
-Sleeping bag
-Headlamp (who said ‘Headlamp?’) or flash light (VERY Important!!!)
-Drinking Vessel
-Food (also, VERY Important)
-Snacks
-Extra Alcohol (should you desire)
-Condoms (also, should you desire)
-Sunblock
-Bug Repellent
-Sneakers for trail (new ones if you want to drink more)
-Flipflops for hanging around camp
-Water/Gatorade/Non-Beer drinks
-Typical Camping Stuff not listed
-Other - being things you think you need to spent time out in the woods
