1st Meet UP

We’re holding our first meet up at Virginia’s Center for Innovate Technology (http://www.cit.org/) in Herndon, VA. CIT has vistors parking in the garage.

We’ve got two speakers and we’ll have some AWS technical representatives attending as well. The schedule of events is:

6:00 – 6:30 Networking and refreshments (pizza and soda)

6:30 – 7:00 – Wayne Wong, Senior Architect and Principle Engineer at GeoEye will discuss lessons learned from running Global Operations and High Performance Computing on AWS. GeoEye is a leading source of geospatial information and operates the world's highest resolution and most accurate commercial Earth-imaging satellite.

7:00 – 7:30 - Mark Ryland, Sr. Director of Solution Architects at Amazon Web Services will be discussing Dynamo DB.

7:30 – 8:00 – Door prizes & more networking
