Presenter: Alan Ellman of Blue Collar Investor

Title: Exit Strategies for Covered Call Writing, With a Brief Overview of Selling Cash-Secured Puts

Please note that this meeting is on the second FRIDAY, not our usual Tuesday night to accommodate Alan's other valley appearance at the AAII on Saturday at the Franciscan Renewal Center.

Time: 6:00 pm Beginners (SPECIAL EDITION) , 7:15pm feature presentation

Dr. Alan Ellman returns to POINT Group to conduct a training session for people who want to write covered calls. He will address every possible scenario that might arise after entering a covered call position and how to manage each one, including stock price declines and accelerations, avoiding share assignment, capturing dividends, and gaps up and down. He will also briefly compare writing covered calls to selling cash-secured puts. Alan will show you how reducing your losses and increasing your gains, while managing your investment positions, will bring your profits to the highest possible levels. Needless to say, anyone who either incorporates stock options in their investment program or is considering doing so absolutely should attend this presentation.

Dr. Alan Ellman is President of The Blue Collar Investor Corp. and has written three best-selling books on the topic of covered call writing. Alan has presented live seminars for The Stock Trader’s Expo, 15 AAII chapters, The Learning Annex and The Money Show, and has written over 300 financial articles on his website as well as for Seeking Alpha, Investing.com and iVolatility.com.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to win a copy of Alan's latest book, Selling Cash-Secured Puts.

There will also be a special edition of our usual beginners program at 6 pm. We are pleased to welcome back an old friend and former POINT member, Dr. Royal Ellinger. Royal will spend the beginner's hour speaking on "Trading Earnings Events with Strangles". He has traded over 380 strangles on earnings plays since Jan 21 of last year and has assembled a large data base. He will offer trading pointers to make this trade successful. So, if you want to learn more about strangle trading, join us at 6.

Admission is $15 at the door, cash or checks only.
