Over the past 7 years I have taught many hundreds of people interested in learning acting from all points of view or experience. Whether you have never acted before or you are a working professional, these sessions are for you.
I teach acting in a practical, no nonsense way which can produce dividends for people at every stage of their lives. Using simple tools, I show you how to understand and create a character's state of mind, a method you can use time after time - in all circumstances, acting or not.
Please come along and find out more in a relaxed and non judgemental environment. You will be amazed at what you can achieve.
In addition to these Meetup sessions, we run a variety of courses at Sweet Entertainments, from weekend workshops to 10 week evening courses. You can find out more here: http://www.sweet-uk.net/training/index.htm![]()

About me
I am a professional actor (http://www.spotlight.com/interactive/cv/1934-0169-3417
), director and theatre producer (of over 500 shows seen by more than 100,000 people).
My acting and directing training was for 4 years with a Russian director, the late Sam Kogan, who himself studied in Moscow under Maria Knebel, a pupil and colleague of Constantin Stanislavski. This technique inspired many of the most distinguished acting tutors across the world and almost without exception, the 'greatest' Hollywood actors from Brando to Day Lewis use or used a technique derived from Stanislavski. My approach is based on both Stanislavski and Kogan's work with an emphasis on making acting genuinely accessible and understandable by and useful for all.
It's the best New Year's resolution you can make for yourself...
We are now taking enrollment for our January-March acting classes (Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evenings, one evening a week). If you would like to join a group please do get in touch. More details, information about me and testimonials from former students are below this email. Read more
