Join us for a free film screening of (Dis)Honesty – The Truth About Lies (http://thedishonestyproject.com/film/): a documentary feature film that explores the human tendency to be dishonest. Inspired by the work of behavioral economist, Dan Ariely (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Ariely), the film interweaves personal stories, expert opinions, behavioral experiments, and archival footage to reveal how and why people lie.

Dan Ariely teaches at Duke University and is the founder of The Center for Advanced Hindsight (http://advanced-hindsight.com/) and the co-founder of BEworks (http://www.beworks.ca/). Ariely's talks on TED have been watched over 7.8 million times. He is the author of Predictably Irrational (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Predictably_Irrational) and The Upside of Irrationality, both of which became New York Times best sellers, as well as The Honest Truth about Dishonesty (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Honest_Truth_about_Dishonesty).
