Our October (19th) speaker will be Dr. Steph Habif.

Her talk is on "Using Intercepts to Know Your Humans."

Following her popular class at Stanford's d.school, Know Your Humans: Designing Effective User Research (http://dschool.stanford.edu/know-your-humans-designing-effective-user-research/), Dr. Steph Habif will share some nuggets on quick, simple ways to learn about the people you design for. How might you learn the most about your users when you have just a few moments to observe or interact with them? Steph will leverage her background in counseling psychology and behavioral science to teach us how to cultivate the most out of brief intercepts. This will be an interactive talk, so come prepared to practice. All you need is yourself and a willingness to try.
