About Active Moms Playgroup
If you are looking for a great way to make new friends, find playmates for your children and have fun, you've come to the right place! I try to have at least 2 activities planned a week. There's not a lot available in this area, but I try to be creative and keep us busy! We have gathered a really great group and we have a lot of fun! So we'd love to have you join us! My name is Heather and I am the "founder" and organizer of A.M.P! I started this group because I was a new mom and new to the area. This group has surpassed all of my hopes and has become such a huge part of my life. I truly believe my life as well as my daughter's has benefited from this playgroup! And I hope that everyone takes the opportunity to see what being part of a playgroup brings to your life, no matter what group it is!There has been membership dues set into place, as Meetup charges for use of their site. The fee is $5 for 2009. After a 30 day "trial" I ask that you pay your dues if you decide you'd like to be a part of A.M.P. Also, my #1 concern is the safety of my members and their families. So I ask that new members meet with the group before being able to access the site. Please e-mail me if you are interested and I will e-mail you with a few of our upcoming events!
