Then: How did this group start? 

I am a SAHM in my early 30's with a 1 yr old daughter. I don't have many friends with babies/children and get a little lonely during the week while my husband, family and friends are at work. I was looking to meet others in the same situation, have some adult conversations, a few laughs and for my daughter to meet some new friends too. I found many mothers groups to be really competitive and a little catty, and was hoping to avoid this and meet some down to earth mums who love their kids, but don't feel the need to compete. 

Now: The Adelaide Mum's & Bub's Group

This group was started in October 2011, and we already have 80+ members from all over Adelaide. Members are aged (roughly) 25 - 40+ and we have children aged from 6 weeks to school age. We even have some members who joined when they were pregnant :)

It is a very friendly, relaxed group and we meet every Thursday (at different locations in Adelaide) and arrange walks on alternate Mondays/Tuesdays. Meet up locations are decided by active regular members, so if you would like to get involved - please attend, we would love to meet you!
