Preparing for DARPA's Robotics Challenge

Interested in participating in DARPA's Robotics Challenge but don't have a team, don't have anything except a Windows PC, and/or don't have any idea where to start? THIS is the session for you!

This session will describe how you can get ready to join our crowd-sourced, gamified effort by obtaining a free account on Amazon web services, setting up a virtual Ubuntu machine with ROS (Robot Operating System) and Gazebo (the ROS simulation environment), preparing a GitHub repository to maintain your contribution, and registering with us to get details and challenges as they become available.
