  • Feb 11, 2014 · 6:30 PM

You asked for more security advice, and so I am pleased to let you know this month Aaron Newman will do a deep dive into AWS security including topics such as attack on and from AWS, search engine attacks, and EDoS attacks. Tips, best practices, architecture choices, IAM, naming convention, and other strategies for preventing and mitigating cloud security threats will be discussed. There will also be a discussion of available open source tools to assist in risk discovery, testing, and mitigation. The talk is designed to be interactive and audience questions and participation is encouraged.

About Aaron:
Aaron C. Newman is the Founder and CTO of CloudCheckr Inc (AWS infrastructure optimization). Aaron is one of the world's foremost database security experts and a serial entrepreneur who has previously founded three other successful startups - Techrigy, DbSecure, and Application Security, Inc.
