Join us for a presentation and conversation with Catherine Herdlick (http://paradeofkites.com/), one of the cofounders of the Come Out & Play (http://www.comeoutandplay.org/) Street Games Festival, and Executive Director of its San Francisco festival (http://comeoutandplaysf.org). Come Out & Play anually transforms New York City & San Francisco into a giant playground, providing a forum for new types of public games and play, and bringing together players eager to interact with the world around them and designers producing innovative new games and experiences.

Catherine is a game designer, academic, entrepreneur who designs and evangelizes accessible, playful systems that make digital, physical, and hybrid spaces more meaningful, collaborative, and joyful. Her work includes a 200-person city-wide street game recreating the world of Logan's Run (http://logansrun2274.com), Woodcut Maps, a data-based wood-inlay art business, and a neo-cowgirl rodeo. Catherine also teaches Interaction Design at the California College of the Arts.
