The focus of the Adventure Travel Meetup is to bring together people with a common interest in Adventure Travel, to discuss past and future trips, exchange ideas and advice, and enjoy the company of fellow adventurers.

Meetups to date have included: meeting in a restaurant or cafe to chat about travel and socialize; picnicking by the bay and exploring Angel Island; visiting the Egyptian Rosicrucian Museum in San Jose to experience some Egyptian culture and history with no fear of jetlag; and viewing the documentary "Youssou N'Dour: I Bring What I Love", including Q & A time with the director.
