People coming together in the spirit of great USA outdoor organizations such as the Walk with a Doc, Journey Outdoors, Outdoor Afro, Beckwourth Outdoors (aka, James P. Beckwourth Mountain Club), Colorado Mountain Club, Mazamas, Frisco Adventures, Sliders & Sliders, etc., to enjoy the Colorado outdoors. Do you snow shoe, hike, camp, bike ride then come on out? Open to all ages.

Activities this group are involved in can be risky. Every year people are hurt and killed because they go beyond their abilities, get lost, get caught in weather or bring the wrong gear. Event organizers and leaders are regular people like you and I.

We are not professional guides, you are responsible for yourself. By signing up for an event you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your own safety and will do the necessary research to understand the conditions of the event and the gear you require.

  Hi, Brittany, below should cover what you'll need:
  - Wear long pants and shirts you can get dirty in, to get abused.
  - good traction walking/hiking shoes that can get abused.
  - bring a safety helmet with strap and head lantern and extra batteries. (a bicycle helmet will do).
  - bring extra flashlight
  - bring water and snacks
  - bring GLOVES!!!
  - for those who have dust sensitively, bring a facemask.
  - bring as an option, knee pads.
  - safety supplies for cuts and scrapes.
  Rent a helmet.

  Some people do not wear an helmet, risking hitting you head against a rock celling or wall. As to safety gear, bandages are good enough, just in case. Check sport store to see if you can rent out a head lamp. If you do not get a headlamp, then bring along at least two hand held flashlights.
