Lightroom 5 - workshop: an introduction

On January 18th, 2014 Adventures in Photography will be offering two presentations. The first of the two will be a presentation from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.

The presentation is on Exploring Portaiture - Portrait Photograhy With Flash and/or Natural Light

At the conclusion of the presentation, 12 Noon, there will be a one hour lunch break until 1:00 p.m.

After the lunch break there will be a 2nd presentation from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. This, the second presentation, is titled

You must register for the Lightroom 5 Workshop separately and pay a second and separate registration fee.

Introduction to Lightroom 5:

This presentation is for photographers who are either unfamiliar with, or new to this amazingly popular software which has become the standard for amateur and professional photographers alike. It will provide an overview of the workspace and the seven modules with emphasis on the two major features, file organization and photo developing.

Our presenter is the widely recognized guru George Garbeck. George has lectured extensively over the years on various versions of Lightroom. He has brought understanding to many and illuminated the way towards proficiency.

Instructor's Bio:

George Garbeck is an award-winning photographer who teaches photography workshops and lectures on digital photographic techniques. He is an Adobe Certified Expert, member of the Photographic Society of America and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. He is a trustee for the Paterson Youth Photography Project and is the graphics coordinator for the Paterson Public School District.

George's presentations are always enthusiastically received and quickly followed by rave reviews.

While this is not a hands on workshop, attendees are invited to bring along their laptops and follow the presentation on their own computer. Power strips will be provided.
