We have all been completely won over by Southern Ontario and all it as to offer...We would like to share our experiences with you and learn about yours. What a better way to do that than to get together a bunch of great people, come up with some new adventures within this wonderful area and embark upon them together. Some of the things we partake in are: Coffee, Dinners, The Hamilton Stairs Challenge, Climbing the CN Tower, Walks, Hiking, Waterfalling, Art Excursions, Dancing, Ghost Walks, Historical Adventures, Day Trips, Shopping, Darts, Pool, Volunteering, Movies, Plays and ohh so much more. We will guarantee you lots of smiles, laughter and great conversation!
Adventures in Hamilton and Area is a group where young and experienced, married and single people can come together to embark on Ontario adventures of all kinds.... together. Our only restriction just for logistical reasons, we ask that you be 19 plus. Even then occasionally we do family events.
Be aware that your organizers are all volunteers committed to bringing you a diverse selection of events to enjoy all aspects of Southern Ontario.
If you are interested in becoming an event organizer, please come out and attend three events and determine this is the place for you. If after doing so you are interested in becoming a volunteer organizer please contact Melanie H, Judy, or Samantha.
We are totally committed to you, we ask that you show all the members of Adventures in Hamilton and Area the same commitment by simply updating your RSVP's.
Scheduled events require that you RSVP on the Meetup site directly. This will help the organizer make the necessary plans for the event. If you have changes that must occur to your RSVP please update within 24hrs of the event, if something unexpected comes up please, please contact the organizer so they are aware (Most organizers make a phone number available, email or update on Meetup, communication is key.) It is disrespectful when you don't update your RSVP and you risk being removed from the group. Please be respectful to the other members as often there are people on the wait list for the event that would love to attend.

Adventures in Hamilton is a great place to be and a wonderful way to take your life offline and into reality but it is important to keep personal safety top of mind. We have been blessed in this adventure so far that we have not had any serious concerns with the safety of our members, a few annoying situations but they were easily dealt with. If you do run into a situation know that Adventures in Hamilton Organizers will try to support you and resolve issues. Steps to take are to report your concern to organizer, so appropriate steps can be taken.
