Daniel L. Gelb grew up in Highland Park in St. Paul, MN. He has an undergraduate degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He has a MBA from Columbia Business School with majors in finance and real estate. After working for a couple of years in New York in investment banking he joined Piper Jaffray in Minneapolis where he was a Vice President in investment banking in the Mergers & Acquisitions area.
