AfrikanViolets is a socially conscious feminist (network/movement) for natural women to connect, engage and evolve. We are dedicated to empowering women through sustainable living projects, healthy/eco living, cultured events, workshops, philanthropy, and eradicating ignorance through empowerment. Our meetups are geared to socially impact and engage both women and men. 

Some of our lifestyle meetups will include:

  • Natural hair work shops (i.e., Kinky-Kurly-Koily 101 & transistioning 101)
  • Healthy & Eco Living (in example: green living, fitness and cooking classes
  • Sustainable Living & Arts workshops (in example: gardening and crafts)
  • Social & Entertainment Events (in example: fashion, music, film, mixed media dance, visual arts, poetry)
