Why did you want to join up to the Agile Auckland group?

Initially to learn about how others were using Agile. Now to hear about applications and 'trench' stories and contribute to others knowledge and understanding by being part of the organising committee.

What areas of Agile do you work / participate or are interested in?

Work with teams being introduced to Agile, use Kanban and visualizations boards daily. Interested in those who are challenging the status quo and innovating.

What has impacted you most when you think about Agile software development?

A whole lot! The way I work, the way I look at teams and team members. The thought processes and journeys it has lead me on. It has lead me to explore other techniques and processes and provided a more value/outcome orientated view of software development

Introduction

Technical Practices Consultant, innovative Kanban user who is forever experimenting with ways to absorb more of the knowledge available through social media and the web, and currently the financial office of the Auckland APN.

What Peter S. is saying about this Meetup Group

Really enjoyed this format. Would like to see this kind of event run at least once a year. Liked the way that focus on what the community/attendees wanted formed the focus of the meetup. Was great to see that so many of the questions raised actually got covered even without an agenda. Starting from a single point the conversation ended up covering a massive amount of stuff. Well done to David, Steph, Colart, John and Kathy for making this event so good.
