Interested in learning about the formation of Aging-in-Community "Beacon Hill Village" support networks? You are invited to join us tomorrow (Tues) for a brown-bag lunch with our participation in a live webinar with the Village to Village Network reporting on the initial research on Villages in California. Andy Gaines, Executive Director of the just-launched Ashby Village aging-in-community network in Berkeley, will be joining us, along with Debby and Barry Barkan, founders of The Elders Guild; participants other area networks are invited.

Funded by The SCAN Foundation, the California Villages Project provides lessons learned from the research conducted by the Center for the Advanced Study of Aging Services on Villages. The webinar will provide a brief overview of the findings of the national study of Villages and their member demographics, as well as reflections on the outlook ahead for research of the Village model. Candace Baldwin, Co-Director Village to Village Network and Dr. Andrew Scharlach from the Center for the Advanced Study of Aging at UC Berkeley will be presenting.
