What we’re about

Calling all programmers!

Programming languages don't get enough <3.

In this group attendees can expect to join a forum where any and all features of a language are open for discussion, with the end goal of improving the groups knowledge as a whole.

Experienced programmers, think about the time you abandoned your favorite programming language due to changes in our field. This would be your chance to share the joys (or sorrows :) ). of your former programming language of choice.

At last count, there are hundreds of programming languages on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_programming_languages

This group aims to cover most of them (eventually), thereby providing a way for sharing knowledge of their existence.

Some languages need legacy hardware. All attempts will be made to provide resources to attendees to witness these languages on any legacy hardware they might require.

We meet at SYN/HAK: The Akron Hackerspace (48 S Summit St, Akron, Ohio 44308) http://www.synhak.org at 6pm. The meetups will be 1-2 hours, depending on how much time attendees have.
