Release the Artist Within + Start Creating!

My group is about breaking the blocks that stop you from being creative in all aspects of your life.

I will be leading a 13 week class using Julia Cameron’s book, “The Artist’s Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity". Each week we will cover one of the 12 chapters along with several of its accompanying exercises. We will also work with additional techniques to inspire and to further the success of the group. I will also plan group artist get-togethers to explore painting, dancing, photography, performing, writing, museums, etc., depending on the interests of the group.

Come be a part of a nurturing group to awaken the artist within you, whatever your creative interests may be, and put it into action.

The 13-week course will guide you in connecting with and unblocking the creative part within you, and to begin to put it into action to manifest your creative dreams.

I am beginning 2 classes. One will meet on TUESDAY EVENINGS at 7 p.m. and another will meet on WEDNESDAY EVENINGS at 7 p.m. Both will be held in ALAMEDA, close to the FRUITVALE BART stop. Each class lasts for approximately 2 HOURS, starting either TUESDAY JUNE 16, 2009 or WEDNESDAY JUNE 17, 2009. Click on the 'Calendar' button to get full details, map, and to R.S.V.P.

Each group will have maximum 5 students in order to keep it intimate and let everyone get time to share. I can create new workshop nights if there are more interested than there is room for on Tuesday + Wednesday.

Increasingly, the universe seems to be a place of open doors and richer opportunities. We are no longer stuck and stymied, alone with our dreams. In fact, our dreams tend to take on weight and substance until they are less dreams than plans. This metamorphosis happens almost without our effort. We are transformed from dreamers to doers.”

THE COST OF THE 13 WEEK CLASS IS $400 payable by CHECK, PAYPAL or VISA/MASTERCARD, and you will need to purchase the book on your own before the first class ($15.95 list price). You will also need a spiral notebook for the ongoing exercises of the course.
