Asynchronous Programming with Tornado Web Server

Join us for the August Monthly meeting of the Alamo City Python group!

This month Kacie Houser from the San Antonio PyLadies will be going over the Tornado web server and how it’s useful for creating asynchronous API’s.

Kacie will define what asynchronous means and why it is useful for todays web applications. She will also give and introduction to using Tornado web server, go over syntax and finally some code. Kacie will provide instructions if you want to code along a few days before the meet-up.

As usual, Pizza and drinks will be provided, so please RSVP so we can have enough for everyone.
