We are consumers and health professionals that are interested in Mother-Friendly Maternity Care. We promote awareness and availability of healthy, normal childbirth and breastfeeding. We provide information and education to anyone planning a pregnancy or those already pregnant. This group is for expectant and post-partum parents, obstetricians/gynecologists, midwives, doulas, physicians, nurses, childbirth educators, chiropractors, massage therapists, and more.

We publish guide to Mother-Friendly health care providers in Alaska who have endorsed the Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative. Membership is open to professionals as well as non-professionals who support the Midwives Model of Care.
