Chickenstock Music Festival!

The infamous Chickenstock Music Festival Is June 14 and 15. I posted a link to their Website below. It looks like this festival is full of fun and frivolity and features some talented musicians.

Chicken is about 400 miles away, basically all on paved roads. We'll leave Friday morning and set up camp before going to the festival. On Saturday morning we can make a side trip to Eagle, which is about 200 miles RT, all on dirt roads. I haven't done this yet so I'm looking forward to it. After the ride we can kick back and enjoy the music and do some dancing!

All of the tent sites that can be reserved at the festival site are already booked, but there are camping spots available in the upper parking lot on a first-come, first serve basis. There are two campgrounds about 17 miles out of Chicken, one each direction, and I plan on staying at one of those.

For those who can't take Friday off, you can always head towards Chicken after work and camp overnight somewhere along the way.
