meet up cancelled

Let's face it, healthy organic foods can be costly.  While our ancestors may have taken grass-fed, free-range meat for granted, today we pay a premium.  At this meeting we will discuss ways to cut costs and still eat paleo / primal.

This meeting is for ANYONE who is interested in learning more about the paleo / primal diet or desires to talk others who are interested in this healthy way of eating.  People who are totally new to the diet are welcome, as are people who have extensive experience eating this way.

This Meet Up will be in the same place where we usually meet. There is a kitchen area, so we CAN eat here.  If you wish to bring a dish, let us know in advance (here at this site) what you're going to bring. It would also be helpful if you bring along a complete list of ingredients or a copy of the recipe.  Please follow the dietary guidelines in our group description.  (While some group members consume dairy, others cannot.) Bringing a dish to share is totally optional.  You do not have to bring a dish to share.

This is an excellent topic. I think networking can help cut costs. I've taken up a hobby that involves an event on the 1st Tues of every month. Basically, the other activity is more fulfilling for me. I probably won't be making many meetups in the future. This is a good meetup for paleo newbies and those who just want to learn more about eating healthy. Thank you Joyce for providing this meetup!

Joyce, you sent out a message inquiring as to why so few people signed up for tonight's meetup. For me, it's that I don't feel a need to cover the chosen topic.

Thanks, Sybil. I'll come up with a different topic for next month. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Meetup has allowed me to meet people I wouldn't have met naturally - they're totally different than me.
