This is a group based on our enthusiasm of craft beer and the great niche beer bars and pubs dedicated to it in Albany and the greater Capital District. We appreciate beer for the taste and artistry, we are NOT drunks just looking to get plastered on the cheap. The Capital District is EXPLODING with bars and pubs dedicated to craft beer with new venues opening all the time. This group will meet at as many different locations as possible on a constantly rotating basis. We'll even go on some brewery tours. We are NOT snobs so if you're new to the craft beer scene don't feel intimidated. We'll be glad to help you expand your palate and find beers you really like. That being said, we won't meet at a bar just because it has $2 pitchers of Bud Light. This is a friendly social group centered around our mutual fondness for better beer.
