Temple Lodge Number 6 is chartered under the jurisdiction of Grand Lodge of New Mexico, which is headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Ballut Abyad Shrine Temple, which is located, at 6600 Zuni SE, in Albuquerque, New Mexico is chartered under the jurisdiction of Shriners International, which is headquartered in Tampa, Florida.
Shriners International is a fraternity based on fun, fellowship and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief and truth. There are approximately 350,000 members from 191 temples (chapters) in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Republic of Panama.
It is the mission of Shriners International to:
* Be the premier fraternal organization for men of good character
* Provide attractive, quality programs and services for its member, their families and their friends in a spirit of fun, fellowship and social camaraderie
