Novel Writers Meetup is a coming together of novel writer minds. If you've got at least one chapter written, you're welcome to come on down to get feedback or general pep talks.

Rules of the Game:

-Bring 1 chapter to read to the group (Yes, that means YOU read YOUR story ALOUD. Don't worry. It's not nearly as scary as it sounds, but it's incredibly helpful for you as a writer. Trust me.)

-Bring enough copies of your chapter for everyone to read along and critique. You will get your chapter pages back. This is just so your audience can mark the pages and follow along better.

-MAXIMUM of 10 pages can be critiqued at one time (or 5 pages front and back), double-spaced, and of a reasonable font size. Reason? Easy of reading/editing. This also limits what people bring and how much time one reads a piece aloud.

-All genres are welcome. Sci-fi, horror, romance, general, literary, surreal, urban, paranormal, thriller, mystery. However, keep it fiction and keep it novel-based.

-That means: no memoirs, no short stories, and no poetry. There are other meetups within ABQ Ink Slingers designed with these specific categories in mind.
