March in the GW Birthday Parade

Bikers, walkers, Complete Streets Advocates! Join us for the annual George Washington Birthday Parade. This short & sweet parade will take us through the heart of old town. After the parade, around 3:30 PM, we will meet at District Taco for some food and friendship.

As advocates of riding & walking our presence in the parade helps spread the virtues of active transportation in our great town. We will be accompanied by members of:

• Alexandria Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee

• Dunbar Alexandria-Olympic Branch of the Boys and Girls Club

• Alexandria SpokesWomen

• Del Ray Robust Walkers

• Kidical Mass Riders from Alexandria & Arlington

Timeline:

12 PM meet at the rally point, parking lot of 520 S Washington

1 PM parade starts

3 PM parade ends

3:30 PM District Taco
