Mindfulness meditation is a discipline followed by Buddhists. Meditation has been proven to lower blood pressure, decrease the risk and complications of chronic diseases such as diabetes and bring a sense of well being and peace to your every day life.
Our practice will help you become aware of your life in new and unexpected ways. We practice living in the present moment - free from yesterday's pain and tomorrow's anxiety.
As your facilitator, I welcome both beginning and experienced meditators. There is no 'trick' to meditation. The value is in the doing. For those of you wondering how you will find time - remember time is a dimension you own. For those of you wondering if you will be 'good enough' or if you will 'get it' - know that you are everything you need to be at this very moment. Meditation will simply increase your awareness of your true self.
I am a daily practitioner of meditation and have been sitting mindfully since 1974. I have led groups. There is no fee; but, donations are appreciated.
Peace is not the 'goal'; peace is the path.

What members are saying
“ It's a good way to get introduced to meditation and to spend some time during your day being present focused. ”
“ Because meditation (separation of self and mind) is probably the most important life skill human beings could learn, especially in light of the current state of the race and the planet. ”
