You know that any event held at your home, especially with this many people is always going to cost the host some money, even if it is BYO everything. Most people would prefer to host and not worry about a charge, but it's basically a rule with these groups that if you host a Meetup in your home, you MUST charge a minimum of $5 to cover your costs. I think it's more than fair.

I agree Glenn. These parties always end up costing the host/hostess money. I think it is a small price to pay to have someone open up their home to such a big group. I know for me, the money would also go toward cleaning. Thank you Jeannie, I really appreciate you opening your home to us!
