Greed is not good. Capitalism is in crisis. The icecaps are melting. Western democracies are backing war and torture around the world. Women earn less than men. Racism is still everywhere. You all know this...you probably joined groups to do something about it (if not, get on with it, what are you thinking about?!)...but this group is not about the doing, it is more about the anti-capitalist's day off!

Beer - certainly! Moaning about the system - absolutely! But also getting out the house so you don't have to sit though another Britain's Got Talent and think about Simon Cowell's offensively large pay packet.

We aim to uncover London's counter-cultural activities. Plays, poetry, happenings, fund-raising comedy nights, if members tell us what is going on, we can post the events up. We will keep the political discussion for the pub. This group is about social events, the arts, getting creative - whatever you alt.culture lovers want!
