AltArts was started to bring together anyone who is interested in alternative art, photography, body modifications, role playing, cosplay, anime, steampunk... anything "above the norm".
The concept is to bring together people with a similar outlook on art and life, who might not normally move in the same circles, to network, learn, create, and exchange ideas.
Monthly meetups will be a networking "party" atmosphere, and we'll be doing regular photoshoots and art (alt, cosplay, and anything else we damn well want to do!), as well as art outings, clubs and other fun stuff!
This is the place for you to meet interesting people and share your stories and ideas.
The AltArts workshops are designed to create a heightened awareness for form, art, and an appreciation of beauty and the human figure in it's many forms. Photographers, models, artists and creatives are encouraged to work together to create and expand their worlds (and portfolios).
We've set the group to "private" because some of the images posted may at times be considered "offensive"... If you offend easily, don't join (or don't go to the photo pages...)
