Brambleberry farm tour and plant purchase
Details
Brambleberry farm is a permaculture plant nursery and real example of how permaculture can work. This is a local source of permaculture passed plants that usually can only be purchased by catalog or online. I went for a tour as a preview and was a great experience. From the natural building techniques to all the plants that I wanted it was an all around good time. This is a tour of the property, the nursery, discussion of house building, and different plant species to use here in the Midwest.
If you are interested in purchasing plants there are many varieties of plants to choose from please check out the website listed for more info. They are a cash only business, being so remote it isn’t easy to accept credit cards. Prices are listed on their site, but for suburban lot I would suggest bringing $100 just in case something catches your eye. Bring more if you have more desired plants and needs. GREAT source of local Comfrey!!

Darren has also told me that you can buy beef from their grass fed beef operation. Please contact him through his site/e-mail and he can have your order ready when you come for the tour. http://brambleberryfarm.org/brambleberry-beef.html
They also have some amazing woodcraft items for sale. Nice handmade pieces. http://brambleberryfarm.org/wooden-spoons.html
Since I am going on the tour again, I can bring things back with me to the Indy area if you are unable to attend. Items must be paid for in advance, or make arrangements to get your money to be before the trip. I can accept CC but a 3% fee will be added.
The tour is $10/person and cash to Darren or Espri. Tour topics will be determined by what guests are interested in seeing and learning about.
