Everything Counts!!

"Life is what happens when you are making other plans." John Lennon

It seems to be a relatively common trait of most people that they consider themselves to be more positive than they actually are. Often, we don’t recognize these negative propensities unless we reflect in quieter moments. So often we get so focused on big things in life, that we lose touch with the small things…and yet in these “small things” are actually clues to the larger issues we face. According to Lynn McTaggert, intentional research repeatedly demonstrates that we are all radio transmitters and radio receivers. We are transmitting and receiving intentional signals constantly, not just when we face external circumstances. We are encouraged not to “sweat the small stuff” , and yet the “small stuff” is what defines the difference between excellence and mediocrity. The small stuff can be the difference between making a pastry, or a mouth-watering pastry. Engineers and architects know that the stability of the largest structure depends on the integrity of it’s smallest component. Quality is always found in the smallest of details.

In this class we will take an actual inventory of our lives, to determine what “small” things we have been overlooking that we can improve upon to lift the vibration of our entire life. Then, we will discuss how to effortlessly lift this area within the context of our already busy lives through the wisdom of verse 63 in the Tao Te Ching, which tell us that the Master sees the large in the small. Rather than chasing after the grandiose, the Master keeps his focus on the small details. We will discuss how we can as Wayne Dyer summarizes, change our “thinking big” to “thinking small and getting big things done.” This Taoist thinking enables us to achieve that “magical efficaciousness” of wu-wei by cultivating the highest quality vibration possible which has a rippling effect that lifts all other areas.
