The Orange County Chapter holds monthly meetings bringing timely information on local and national issues.

[Partner Event] Summit for Religious Freedom (SRF)
·OnlineOnlineSummit for Religious Freedom (SRF)
April 25-27, 2026There is power in coming together — among people of all religions and none; across age, race, gender, ability, geography, orientation, and politics — to protect freedom without favor and equality without exception for everyone.
The Summit for Religious Freedom (SRF) is where that happens. It’s where we gather to protect inclusive religious freedom, uphold church-state separation, and resist the rise of Christian Nationalism and other extremist threats.
Join us from April 25–27 in Alexandria, VA for 3 unforgettable days of learning, strategy and community.
Sign up for the virtual event HEREThe Summit for Religious Freedom (SRF, pronounced “surf”), is the annual gathering at the heart of a growing, justice-rooted movement to protect inclusive religious freedom and church-state separation — the Constitutional promises working together to guarantee everyone the right to live as themselves and believe as they choose, as long as they don’t harm others.
SRF is where advocates, organizers, experts, faith and secular leaders, and everyday people connect the dots between church-state separation and the issues that depend on it like inclusive public schools, racial equality, LGBTQ+ rights, reproductive freedom, and more. It’s where we come together to defeat Christian Nationalists and other extremists that threaten a pluralistic democracy where everyone can thrive.
Americans United for Separation of Church and State (AU) is proud to convene SRF and create a space where every person and organization who connects to these issues can come together to learn, teach, share, network and recharge for the fight ahead.

[Partner Event] Braver Angels on Immigration and U.S. Use of Force in Iran
Irvine Ranch Water District - Community Meeting Room, 15500 Sand Canyon Avenue, Irvine, CA, USLet's join our friends at Braver Angels.

In a time of deep political polarization, it's easy to fall into the trap of assuming the worst about "the other side." This event invites people from across the political spectrum to come together for an honest, respectful conversation that aims to challenge common stereotypes, uncover shared values, and promote understanding — not conversion.
Hosted in the spirit of curiosity rather than combat, the discussion will explore the myths we carry about people with opposing political views, with particular focus on two of today's most charged topics: immigration policy and the United States’ use of force against Iran. These are issues where assumptions run deep and common ground is rarely sought. This event offers space for participants to listen, reflect, and speak openly without fear of judgment.
Whether you lean red, blue, or somewhere in between, you're welcome. Come with curiosity. Leave with perspective.
