Amigurumi is the Japanese crochet craft of making cute animals with oversized heads. Imported to the US, design ideas, patterns, and techniques have exploded, and the creative options are endless! Join us to learn basic crocheting skills, yarn selection, how to follow a pattern (both US-style and Japanese chart style), techniques specific to Amigurumi (invisible decrease, invisible join, joining pieces, finishing techniques, how to design your own amigurumi from scratch, and so on), and to share patterns and projects and just have fun!
