Some basic rules of membership:

1) We are a social singles group. We are not a dating service. If sparks happen to fly, the couple are still a part of us. We have become family. If the flame goes out, no drama please.

2) We have chosen to make this a "private" group for safety reasons.
Rudeness, harassing, stalking etc (within or outside of this group) towards any members, organizers or other meetup groups will absolutely NOT be tolerated. You will be removed and banned from the group.

3) For everyone's safety, house parties are only open to members who have attended at least one previous event or we must know you.

4) We will occasionally host fundraisers to offset what Meetup.com charges us for running the site, supplies, and any advertising we may do.

Members:
Anyone is welcome to join, however, most of our members are 40+

As much as we want to see pictures of your pets or children, you must post a recognizable picture of yourself when you join, (this is to help us recognize you at events) along with some profile information. Don't be shy, tell us a little bit about yourself. Your picture must remain on your profile page after you've been added to the group.

All new members must attend their first Meetup within 3 months of signup. Members who do not attend their first Meetup within 3 months of signup will be removed from the group.

To encourage this to be an active group, not a group about "numbers", any member not active in three months will be removed from the group. You may rejoin at any time.

FYI: After every event we do update the attendance....if you rsvp "yes" and do not atttend your rsvp is changed to "no".

We encourage you to make the most of this group by giving us your ideas, suggestions and comments about activities you'd like to do. We are planning Happy Hours, Monday Night Football, Concerts, indoor and outdoor activities, (roller skating, hiking, etc) Dancing, Karaoke, house parties, day trips & an occasional "weekend away" .We want this group to be fun for everyone and that means your input and participation is very important.

Any member can volunteer to host an event at anytime by just emailing one of the organizers with your proposed activity details. ( see info for "Hosting an Event")
