IOT Olympics day @ Oosterpark

Save the date for the first prototyping day of the IOT Olympics! We will be prototyping, designing and sharing talks. Goals of this day:

• designs & ideas for projects to be part of the IOT Olympics
• prototyping of projects
• determining open datasets to be used / created
• setting the agenda for the coming months

We are happy that students from HVA Digital Life Centre (http://www.digitallifecentre.nl/) are participating to work on projects for the IOT Olympics.

PROGRAM:

10.00 welcome & talks

• 10.00 - 10.10 IOT Olympics - Casper / Jonathan

• 10.10 - 10.30 HvA Digital Life Centre BAMBEA - Joey van der Bie

• 10.30 - 10.50 LoRa - Pieter Bregman (IOT Academy)

• 10.50 - 11.10 David Knappstein - sport coaching

• 11.10 - 11.30 Joost Plattel (Quantified Self)

• 11.30 - 11.50 Sodaq

12.00 making teams

• Introducing the ideas that were generated at the kickoff meetup on Feb 17th and a moment for new ideas to be shared.

12.30 lunch (provided @ Freedomlabs)

Also a good moment to walk through the park to gather insights and perhaps interview some people there.

13.00 work & gurus

Teams work on their prototypes and designs. There will be beacons & LoRa gateways installed, but you can also bring your own hardware.

Gurus are around to answer questions in various areas and to help people get started with:

We are doing a live Periscope video feed to Glimworm's Paul Manwaring who is on stage @ Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

20.00 demo's & drinks

LOCATION FreedomLabs Campus is located next to Artis (± 300m from Oosterpark) at Plantage Middenlaan 62.

Our space is called The College, which is located through the gate / alley in the garden in the back. Please do not ring the front door bell.
