My Amsterdam Photo Contest

Share your unique view on Amsterdam. Be creative and highlight what you think makes Amsterdam special. Join this event and get the chance to be one of 3 lucky photographers to have their photo printed and sold in one of Amsterdam's most central located galleries.

The Amsterdam Photo Club has a collaboration with Rockarchive Amsterdam (http://www.rockarchive.nl/). Giving the opportunity for our members to have their photography printed and sold as art pieces to collectors and tourists passing by.

How to participate

The photo must clearly depict Amsterdam. Preferably photographed in a way normal tourists would not think of.

The Amsterdam Photo Club and Rockarchive Amsterdam will pick the 3 favorite photos to be featured and sold in the store. The photos will be printed by the gallery on hahnemuhle fine art paper in black & white. For every sale, a profit will be paid to the photographer.

Deadline: May 29th

The deadline for submitting your photo is on May 29th 18:00.

How to get your photo exhibited

The Amsterdam Photo Club will schedule regular events for photographers to submit their photos. Rockarchive Amsterdam will pick their 3 favorite photos to be featured and sold in the store. The photographer will have to be able to invoice the Gallery for the sales of his picture.

If selected, the photographer will only need to submit the photo in high resolution to the gallery. The gallery will take care of the printing and framing. The photo will be sold in approx 20×30 cm prints for a price of 39,75 Eur. The photographer will receive 10 Eur for each print sold. For fiscal and legal reasons the photographer has to be able to invoice the Gallery for the amount of the sale. Even if it is not intended to make you a rich photographer. But a photographer that has had his/her photography sold in a real art gallery.

Promotion

The Amsterdam Photo Club will take photos of your exhibited work in the gallery to promote the sale and for use on your own website, blog or social media.
