AB January Meetup

Details
Welcome to Analyze Boulder 32! Our first event for 2016 is a doozy - check out this amazing lineup:
William Lyon combines a graph processing framework with a graph database to dramatically improve insight gained from ad-hoc queries, for example, how easy it is to "find the most influential Democrat in the Senate who has influence over the meat industry."
Trent Niemeyer will share how he prepared for a recent trip to Croatia with a topic analysis of travel blogs: scraping, cleaning data, feeding into LDA, iteratively tweaking parameters and cleaning data, and final output analyzed in a D3 package within Jupyter.
Damian Wandler will highlight some sneaky ways bias can end up in well-intentioned AB tests, how machine learning can be the nemesis of causal inference, and some methods to address these issues.
As always, we'll be pouring great beer from Vindication Brewing Company (http://vindicationbrewing.com/).
Contact us (http://speakers.analyzeboulder.com/) if you want to speak at an upcoming meetup.
