Bonny Sosa Tuesday Night Races!

UPDATE

[Kenton] was talking to the organizers last Tuesday: this last event will simply involve a short, untimed race, followed by free pizza and potluck desserts in the Chalet, while awards are given out.

Because of this, if you're interested in getting a longer run in, meet at the Chalet at 5:45pm. We can go on a 35-40 minute run around Kincaid, and meet back at the Chalet before 6:30.

It's just about fall which means the Muni's Tuesday Night Race series is back!!

Run locations around Anchorage vary from week to week and there are various levels. Lots of competitive runners, but also tons of "normal" folks. Definitely a great part of Anchorage fall culture that every runner should experience!

The first of the nine races is this Tuesday at Kincaid. I'm already registered for the entire bunch ($35 for the season, or $5 per race IF you pre-register, or $10/race on-site registration) and can be the "point person" if we want to powwow before each race and/or run more after and/or grab post-race food together. Otherwise, this is more of an informational post to keep everyone in the loop on a great local running event! I will go ahead and post a Meetup for each race individually.

The basics:
Races are Tuesday nights, Sept 10 to Nov 5.
Check-in on race day is 5:30-6:10pm -- important to be there on time.
Races at 6:30pm sharp!
