They're back! Tuesday Night Race Series, aka Beloved Bonny Sosa

Alrighty, gang, the schedule is up for this year's TNRS. Get excited. Because I find it easier to keep track, I'll post individual meetup events for all of the races.

FYI: All races start promptly at 6:30pm on Tuesdays. If you tend to freak out about crowded parking situations - seems to be a common source of contempt for Anchorageites - get there well before 6:15.

TNR has been going on each fall in the Muni for decades and is a total (exhausting) trail-running blast. If you're new to town, make a point to come out to the first one on Tuesday, Sept 9 at Kincaid. I bet you'll be hooked.

How to find the Trail Runners at these things: Last year, we made Kenton wear his bright orange beacon jacket and just congregated around him before the start. Seemed to work well. Kenton, please update us on the status of said jacket. I hope we don't need to create an alternate plan.

Post-race, a few of us seemed to go grab food/beer. I imagine this tradition will continue, though someone else will have to spearhead it this time around. (I'll have to immediately rush home to bed, boo.)
