Plan on 7-8 hour round trip pace, including a nice break at the overlook. Steady climbing without rest stops until the first summit (about 2 hours up.)
Start hiking at 11, so meet before then. If it's rainy and wet, I will probably cancel, so check back in the morning or go without me.
Round trip to the Overlook is 13 miles with 5500 feet of elevation gain. Bring enough water, snacks, clothing and poles if you like, for the descent.
