WHAT: Classical &/or skate skiing. I will be skiing classical/ diagonal stride this evening. If we have skate skiers come out this evening we will probably self-select into two different skiing groups.
WHEN: Meet at 7 PM.
WHERE: Meet at Jodphur Parking lot (described above). We will ski a variety of loops depending on trail conditions and group desires.
DOGS: These trails are groomed exclusively for skiing in winter so Fido cannot come along. I may bring my 2 dogs; leave them in the car while skiing and walk them in the Motor Sports area before or after skiing. If you want to do this please say so in your RSVP and bring a change of shoes from your ski boots for dog walking.
DETAILS: -- There is lots of light as these are lighted loops. -- Headlamps can sometimes be useful but are not used by most people while skiing. -- This is a good place for all levels of skiers. -- Bring a Thermos of hot beverage to leave in the car for after skiing; &/ or consider going to Bear Tooth after skating for rehydration. --

NOTES: When there is more snow for better trail setting conditions I hope we can also have Adventurers ski outings to Bartlett, Russian Jack, Chugiak/ Beach Lake, Hillside. Feel welcome to share any ski or skate outing (or any outing) with other Adventurers. To have an event posted on the Calendar simply send an e-mail to me or any Assistant Organizer telling us what you want to add to the calendar. Please prepare the information in the WHAT, WHEN, etc. format you see here to make it easy for Organizers to quickly and accurately get your information posted. Please try to submit information for posting with as much lead time as possible (2 or 3 days or more; weeks or months in advance is good too). With almost 600 members we can have 2 or 3 or 5 or ... outings on the same day or evening.
