Wednesday Weekly Wander

Wednesday weekly wanders repeat weekly; season and weather determine the activity and place, which will be posted early in the week.  If you have any suggestions or requests, feel free to email Jo, Julia or Vern.

The weather is not cooperating with our plans to ski this winter, so instead we will take a hike on the "Bee" singletrack bike trails at Hillside ski area.  Bring katoolas and a headlamp, and perhaps we will have a little moonlight if the skies are clear.

We will meet at the parking area for the singletrack bike trails.  Go past the Hillside Lighted Loop ski trails parking area along Abbot, and turn into the drive that goes to the Hillside ski area.  Take the first right into a long narrow parking lot with the ski jump at the far end.  At the near end you will see the sign for the singletrack bike trails; look for our parked cars.

We will be out for about 90 minutes, then will head somewhere for a bite and a brew.

Bring: headlamp, katoolas/ice grips, poles, and water.

Dogs: always welcome, bring a leash in case there are bike riders on the trail

And remember, all who wander are not lost.... at least most of the time.

A great trail with super views. Thanks Alan for leading us through the maze!

Julia, about a month ago that parking lot was closed, so we just parked in the area for the downhill skiers and walked to the trailhead. Not sure if that is still the case or not.

Is this going to happen today? How's the condition of the trails with all this melting going on??

The trails may be icy. That's why it says: "Bring: headlamp, katoolas/ice grips, poles"

"Somewhere in Anchorage"? I guess this really is a wander! I'm hoping to get to join you all one of these days, even if it means leaving work early to do it.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
