I have recently returned to Alaska after a 3 year absence. Previously I lived, worked and played in Alaska for 26 years. I am happy to be back.
Kayaking (sea & whitewater), skiing and hiking.
Fairly open
Central America, SE Asia, Grand Canyon, Prince William Sound, Chugach Mountains
Known Doug and Mary for many years and was amazed when they told me they were leaving Alaska. Hopefully they will be back visiting often.
Probably something on the water.

Saludos Carl, Gracias por unirte con el grupo. Espero que te vea el sábado or miércoles que vienen. Nos vemos.
Hi Carl. I wondered what happened to you. I moved to VA, temporarily. I'll return this summer. Is your super fast kayak still in AK?
Carl, Evie is desperate to get a hold of you. Please email her at [masked]! She says the Serum Run is in need of more snow machiners to go to Nome. Interested? She'll have a dog team. Shoot her an email! She lost yours when her hard drive crashed last year. Cheers from her new house mate!

Be at Fishers landing at 3 P.M. on Friday and we will shuttle you and your boat and gear to Walters Camp then and your vehicle will be at Fisher's Landing when you come out.3, Be at Walters Camp sometime before 9 A.M. on Saturday and you will leave your vehicle there and we will shuttle you on monday
Hey, Carl! Glad you enjoyed my post. It sounds like you have much more experience than I do, but regardless, let's get together and paddle. I'll look at arranging something in the Phoenix direction.
Great meeting you on the river Carl! Had a really good time camping with you and the others. Didn't see much of you on the float though! I helped tow some(ok a TON) of the people in rafts and tubes. We will have to do a trip soon without the rafters so we can make some distance!
Really enjoyed talking to you Friday! When things cool off and you go to Baja let me know - I'll post it as an event. Take care!
Hi Carl!!!
Yes, I do have a kayak. I try to go when I get a chance... usually just to the river and paddle around for a little bit. I'll take my dog with me some times. He loves it and gets tons of exercise. He prefers to swim along side while I paddle along. It's great!
I wonder how many others in the group have a kayak... it would be fun to get a few together and go.
Cheers!
micah
