Monthly Gaming Shindig at The Raven's Nest

Each month, we will be holding a gaming party at the Raven's Nest. Bring your games or play ours.  You are allowed to bring food into the store, but no outside drinks - they sell those at the shop (you can even do it tab-style and pay up when you leave), as well as ice cream! Play runs from Noon until 11:00 PM.

It would be very helpful if you would RSVP so we know who's coming, and it benefits you as you will get updates and see new comments.

For more fun, feel free to connect with us on Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit!

We are Ando, and so can you!

Sounds like fun, now I know it's there, I can plan for it, but we have our own gaming session running on Saturday night.

I read that the event runs from Noon until 11:00 PM, but is there still a good crowd after 6PM?

It depends in my experience. Noon to 11:00 is fun, but if people come and go it can break down early if there is a lull in the gaming. Come early and prepared for the long-haul and it I have seen gaming exceed 11:00 pm if everyone is still having fun.

I do plan on coming, assuming life permits it.

...yep. Life butted in, thankfully it shouldn't do more than make me arrive at 3:00 or so.

What types of games do you typically play at the monthly game nights?

We've got a lot of variety - it really depends on who comes and what they are into. Some of the more popular choices lately are Splendor, One Night Ultimate Werewolf, and Sentinels of the Multiverse. However, we have been known to break into a small group for some meaty games like Eclipse and A Game of Thrones. I've picked up a few new games that I'm eager to try - Robinson Crusoe (a bit on the heavy side) and Istanbul (which looks like its the big new hit)

      I'd love to learn Sentinels.

It will be nice to play again with all of the staff who didn't have time at the Con :)
