Group member and Google Developer Advocate Paul Carff will be presenting the latest developments around the Google TV platform.
Paul is a Developer Advocate for the Google TV Platform, and is currently engaging with partners to develop applications and Video Sitemaps (improving Video search and discovery). At Google, he has managed a number of internal technical support teams, the Google Analytics Support, and developed data warehousing solutions enabling Google's Sales and Support teams to scale. Before working at Google, Paul was a career Naval Officer working his way from the enlisted to the officer ranks.
Agenda:
6:00-6:30 - greet and meet; Bridgepoint will be catering food and drink for us!
6:30-6:45 - Bill Wixted - ADG (Android Developer Group) housekeeping; introduce Paul Carff
6:45-7:45- Paul Carff - presents on Google TV
7:45-8:00 - Q&A
8:00-8:15 - group member introductions (voluntary). I know some of you are looking for potential partners for business opportunities or you would like to promote your own services for hire. I'd like to set aside 15 minutes (or so) to give people a chance to speak to the group for a few moments. Totally informal and voluntary.
Here are driving directions: Bridgepoint is located on the southeast corner of the 15 and 56 interchange. If you're heading eastbound on the 56 take the first exit that is immediately after the ramp to 15 northbound. That road is Sabre Springs Parkway. If you're traveling on the 15 take the Ted Williams Parkway exit heading east. Exit (almost immediately) and turn right on Sabre Springs Parkway. Head south on Sabre Springs Parkway a very short distance. Take the second right which is Evening Creek Road. Travel a very short distance and turn into the third driveway you see on your right. We will be meeting in the Ashford building which is the one in the middle with the "Ashford.edu" sign on it. Park anywhere on the street or in the lot. Come inside the Ashford building and up to the fourth floor. Exit the elevators and look for the conference room labeled Leadership Room.
Will see you all soon! Bill Wixted San Diego - Android Developers Group Organizer
