First Android Meetup Slovenija

Attention all Android developers - let's meet up, get to know each other and talk about interesting stuff in Android world.

On this first meetup we'll be hosting three speakers, all three experienced Android developers.

They will be speaking about:

1. Android libraries which we use on a daily basis / Ivan Kocijan, Infinum

There's a large number of libraries available for Android but who has the time to try them all? In this lecture we'll show you a few libraries which we use on daily basis and explain how they can help you to get the job done faster.

2. Dagger 2 / Dino Kovač, Infinum

In this talk we'll discuss why Dagger 2 is the best Java dependency injection library yet. We'll show you how to use it and what advantages it offers over the original Dagger.

3. RxJava / Jernej Virag, PSPDFKit GmbH

RxJava is the new hotness amongst Android developers these days. It's allows for a practical implementation of Functional Reactive Programming pattern which makes concurrency a breeze and makes your application source code shorter, more testable and the application itself more responsive and reliable. In this talk we'll take a look at how RxJava improves Android development experience and where it bites a newbie programmer.
